enginge timing

can anyone tell me what things are on the engine timing circuit on my 98 a4 v6? it continues to open fuses and set a mil, which i mentioned in a previous post. Is the air pump on this circuit? any other things to check? i need to fix the problem so i can get my state inspection done..
