hi, 1st post. i own a 2000 A4 2.8 shift.
turned on the car last week and the EPClight came on, the check engine light has been on for the pas 2 month now, car runs really good , although i think i should be taking him to the shop.
any info on this EPC ight ??

it's electronic power control. very rare problem and i got no idea how to fix it lol. have u had ur fault codes read?

I have an 01 a4 2.8 and I have the epc light com on and sometimes my car wont start and I have an exhaust leak and fualty o2 sensor code can anyone help please and thanks

 

i just did my t stat replacement along with my coolant flange, wich btw was a total pain in the ***!!! i reinstalled 3 times wich is painnful on your hands....anyway my car was runnin flawless, i got hiome from the gym, woke up next morning to go take a look at a b6 and the car would not start, finally got it started and the turbo and cat were glowing orange WTF??? epc light is on and im confused and baffled i cant find any info on this prob....

 

epc sign usually means there something wrong with the ECU. i believe there a fuse for it. make sure the ecu is dry. a friend of mine got this wet and the light came on. went off after he dried the ecu.

you have a vagcom? you should get the car scanned. its only 10 dollars on ebay and software is free.
