very minor scratch but its down to the undercoat ( the white paint ) it will require filler to build it up then you can paint it, UK cost approx £65/ $130

I think the rule goes......If you can feel the scratch with your finger nail then it cant be buffed out (pass the clear coat). The clear coat on factory paint is always really thin, so I wouldnt worry about it.

the finger nail touch is ok ( for a soft scratch ) but when the undercoat shows through that's not a soft scratch, I think you will know what a deep scratch feels like

Maybe it doesn't look that deep from the picture. But at the botto of the scratch you can see the metal...Or whatever coating or something is blackish at the bottom

gosh this makes me SOO mad! I can't stop thinking about how it got there. I know I can't always keep the car perfect, but when I purchased the car I noted where ANY scratch was and this was NOT there. What can I do to get rid of this scratch? let me first say that I don't know how to use power tools and stuff but I can read directions? lol. Is there any product I can buy to fill this scratch in? How much will touch up paint cost?
quixx scraqtch remover, cost about $15 and is TUV approved and has BMWs seal of approval, i remember a member here used it and gave great reviews, apparently it also has direction to remove the scratch if its past the clear coat.

When you moving to "Gloomy" Washington? There are some people up here that can take care of that scratch for you and make it look new again.
