My 1.8T seems to be full of power sometimes, then lacks power. On hilly areas, it lacks power severly. I have to climb hills in tiptronic 2nd gear, sometimes first with an onloaded car. Can it be the turbo works sometimes? I was told it could be a wastegate problem? anyone ever had this experience?

 

could be a bad bpv?
