Euro Headlights, HELP!!!!!!!!
Hello all,
Well I recently had euro headlights installed with PIAA bulbs. They look AWSOME. But, tonight I drove at night, and though the headlights are much brighter, the light only goes out about 25 feet our from the front of my car if not less and I can't see much without the brights on. Anyone have any idea what the problem may be? Maybe the people that installed the lights angled something wrong? Anyways, PLEASE ANY INPUT is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

RE: Euro Headlights, HELP!!!!!!!!
thats not the problem i dont think, i have hoens and they dont go as far as stocks either (like 30 ft) but i dont really have a problem, but its the light bulbs. They are bright but dont have enough luminace (luminance:
The luminous intensity of a surface in a given direction per uatt of projected area of the surface, in candela per square meter; not the same as the apparent brightness ) from auto dict. You may need to just buy new bulbs, if PIAA has a warranty u might wnat to trade them for another one of there lights thats has more luminace.

Yeah, the aiming sounds like the only answer here... if they are plenty bright, up to that 20 ft... then they are just aimed wrong. Read your manual, like everybody has said. Should fix it up.

RE: Euro Headlights, HELP!!!!!!!!
there is nothing in the manual about aiming the headlights... there are two holes in the top of your headlight housings, stick a phiillips screwdriver in their and start turning, if nothing happens, change holes... or if you have a good relationship with your dealership, take the car in and they will do it for you, that's what i did and watched them do it.
