What exactly is the difference between the European version of the headlights and the US/North america version? Is it only the housing?

Not sure about the B6, but for the B5, it has clear corners, city lights, and the projector doesn't have the steppings that the US ones have, which means more light gets projected to the road.

USspec lights have the DOT required reflector in the amber corner signal, so if you ever get your car inspected by someone who knows what they are looking for, you'll fail with Eurospec lights. Just FYI

 

when you say steppings are you refering to the cutoff line on the light?

I think Ecodes would lookgood on mine just because theres no amber lense....but I herd of a mod to remove the amber lense....or is that only for the B5s?
anybody here with a B6 have Ecodes?
