Did u guys know that eurocode tuning now offers the GTRS turbo kit with REVO software for the B5? 400 hp out of a B5 in a kit? can it be so that they finally came out with decent tuning for it? I think my nxt car should be a B6 1.8T with this kit? Anyone know reliabilty of it? for b6 and B5

It hasn't been out long enough for anyone to gauge reliability.

 

where did u hear about this casue the ecodetuning webpage only say B6 and the B5 gets MIKA software, but who care u can always get UNITRONIC Tuning anyways i hear they got great programmin for the GTRS

 

unitronics is good stuff. there are at least 3 people that just put it in within the lst 2 weeks. my 2871r elim hauls ***!

The package we sell is based on the Eliminators (GT2X, GT28RS and the 2871R) and Unitronic Tuning (local tuner Sean comes and tunes the cars or the ECU's that our customers ship us).

Since noone was doing it for the B5's (besides the $5+k kits from APR), we figured it would be nice to have a package like Eurocode has for the B6's that do just as good a numbers as the expensive kits.

The 3 B5's out there with this combo (who are online) are really liking it, and we know why.. it's the tuning.

We're installing a 2871R right now (customer drove from Maryland to get it installed), and he's going to dyno in the next couple weeks to show how much hp you get with just the turbo parts, and then each step after (full turboback and then fmic).. so that it's clear that a regular off the street car can produce the numbers.. and not just a shop car. Also we're finalizing the instructions (update on the ones that come from ATP) to make it easier for the ones who are not close by and want to get the complete package from us.
