Looking to upgrade my exhaust BUT I drive 150 miles per day hiway and don't want noise. Would I be better off keeping the current muffler and resonator and getting custom larger piping between?

I really need a quiet cruiser

 

I have no advice to give you in terms of using bits and pieces... but do NOT go custom exhaust, if you want low noise.

The APR and borla exhausts (and others) are made specificially for our car... and have the lowest noise / power ratio... because they have tested them on the cars while making them.

Custom, they just bend the pipes, and off ya go!

But, I want the same thing you want... so let me know how you make out! PM me when you get something. PLEASE. I don't want drone on the highway.

 

I have a custom exhaust, we made it right at the shop in a day. I have no droning, and is like the apr exhaust. Magnaflow straight through mufflers.

 

audiboy, what did you use for a tip/ muffler?
