should i go with a brand name one like Millteck or something like that, or can i just get one from Lou's Custom? wich would be like half the price b/c i no someone there,
will there be any difference in power, or anything like that?

Lou's Custom Exhaust does some decent work for not a lot of money, but I've almost never seen a truck (I know, not an Audi) come out of there with the tips coming out straight. They often look crooked. If you're just having them put new stuff on existing piping runners, I think you might be ok. Not sure what they use for generic mufflers, but I know they use Magnaflow and Flowmasters.
had a Borla on my B5. sounded great and the tips were **** to look at. not too pricey too.
but i have a custom 3" mandrel bent(key) exhaust with Magnaflow muffler, no tips, on my B6.. sounds even better obiously due to diameter. but i don't miss the brand name and shinny tips at all. cost like $300 less so that was a big plus. many mods can be had for that amount of saved money

for a ko3 or ko4 car, the 2.25" Borla is just fine, and 3" is just too large for those small turbo's.. but i have a different turbo on my B6 so the 3" was needed.
basically, i have no way of comparing
