Default exhaust install

My Borla exhaust that i ordered just came in today, and at first i was going to take it to a shop to get installed but now i am thinking of doing it myself with a buddy. I was wondering if this was a hard thing to do, and about how long it should take. Also it is my first car and i dont have a lot of experience with working on them

Shouldn't be too difficult. As long as you got the right tools and a little patience you should be fine. It could be a great experience working on your ride. Just make sure you put safety first, use a real jack and stands. Sorry I can't find a DIY link for you.

only think you need to worry is connection between borla and cat. It is a pita to take it out. you better use dw40 before one day to start the job.

Liquid wrench works like a charm. The bolts connecting the cat to the downpipe will probably be rusted. If you get a high flow cat or test pipe, it will make the process a lot easier on you. Make sure you have at least 2 socket extensions and universal joints.

Hardest part is the downpipe. Best tips I can give you on that is use the right front wheel to access the bolts or a long socket extention from the underside. Mine was really rusted at that area, make sure to have some nut loosener like suggest above.

Nice exhaust btw I love mine.
