#1 .. jukeit.. TOOOOOOOO FUNNY !!!!
#2 .. germancarfanatic, do as you wish, we are all only trying to offer friendly advise.. but i'd have to agree
I'D NEVER SEND MY ECU TO AN E-BAY BASED COMPANY TO HAVE WORK DONE >>> SCARY !!!!!
good luck pal...
p.s. when you get your ecu back i'm making 2 bets...
1) no noticable gains will be seen...
or 2) Check engine light will be on, in a month your idle will raise by 2K, and in 6 mos. your car wont start
keep us posted..... LOL

wow, you an idiot germancar.
I paid for my car completely, I just have a semi decent job.
Being a mechanic should net you at least 50k a year even at a small private business but then again you may be an assistant or something, so I dunno about that one. You sound like a little f^cking kid. If you were a mechanic you should know how to weld, and that's all you need to make an exhaust, well that and know what degree pipes you would need and know how to measure. You sir are far from a mechanic.
I think you're confusing mechanic and maniac with a little mentally challeged mixed in with each other.
But not to make this post a complete waste.
If you don't get a DP/Catback then it's worthless. It's a complete bottle neck and very restrictive.
If you want the sound, to each their own, you will see VERY minimal gains.
Ebay chips are garbage, I don't care what you want to say about it.
GIAC, APR chips are not accurate (yep, I said it)
Now to explain this:
Every engine is different. Straight out of the factory they all perform alike but not the same. One may be quicker then the other, one may make more HP then the other. You cannot rely on a chip someone made, no matter how much R&D they put into it, it will never be as efficient as if you tuned it on the dyno with a widebadn and burned your own chip, it was designed for your type of engine, not YOUR engine.
Example why it's not efficient/accurate, you're engine may have a slight dip in compression in let's say 2 of the cylinders and it's an 5% difference, but the guy next door with the same year, make and model has perfect compression across, who do you think is going to run richer or leaner? Who's do you think is going to be quicker in the end.
I will never buy a pre-made chip unless it's just a basemap. I have some mediocre knowledge on tuning, but I have tuned my own car enough to where if I didn't it would either not run or blow, so I know I'm right.
You guys have a slight advantage, your cars were already boosted so you'll still see gains, just not the best possible. My older projects weren't boosted from the factory, without tuning would be asking for it to blow.
I'm sure I'm going to hear a lot of feedback on that.

Not even going to get into that, ko3 remaps are tuned to the "T", and yes, they are accurate. Remaps for larger turbos that less people have are different.
btw- Didnt u tell me i was knowledgable about the 1.8t? but then u say the chips arent accurate, when u dont even have one? just stop now dude.

ok you have a 1.8t, what's your point?
I will stand by my comments, they are not tuned for YOUR specific engine, end of story, they are not designed and tuned to YOUR cars exact specs. They will NEVER be completely accurate, especially compared to if you had someone tune your car on a dyno and burn a chip.
"Please drive through and pick up your order at the 2nd window, your total for your feedback will be $0.00, thanks"

I respect people that give valid advice. I'm a newb to this forum, I know.
My advice is perfectly valid. I've done it, I've been their, I know just not on an Audi. You cannot expect to have a peak/max gain from some chip some company decided to make, it doesn't matter how much R&D was put into or what car it is, unless it was done on the exact car it's going to be used on. There is no working around it. It's a fact. I can guarantee if I had a 1.8t and I tuned it it would make more HP/TQ then a premade chip. period

Ok, maybe we are thinking differnent things, when i say accurate, i mean, reliable, and make good power.
btw- Im sick and tired of these newbs acting like there tuner-r-us. Why not race neil or I and see how great of tuners u are? Im really hoping u s/c ur 12v, because i would love to smoke it and laugh in ur face.

You're comparing apples and oranges here. Your 30V obviously has more potential than my 12V. A race would be pointless. I wouldn't race you to win, I would race to race and because I'd want to see how much more potential the 30V has.
I'm a newb to this forum, but I am pretty knowledgable. I guess I'm comming off a little wrong. But you have to chill the f*ck out and get off newbs asses. You're having members flee to a different forum.
You're not understanding my posts and jumping to conclusions, if you don't understand what I'm saying ask and I'll make it more clear.
You're the only one in this whole forum that always has something negative to say and try to make yourself seem right EVERYTIME until proven wrong. Do you feel you're the bigger man because your 30V which has more potential and will beat my 12v? Do you really want me to go and trade my 12V for a 30V, just so I can have more competition with you? Like I said, if I SC the "impossible to tune and never been done" 12V, it's for more power not to compete with a SC'd 30V.
