I am about to get my exhaust in a few weeks and i was wondering if it will be too loud with a magnaflow muffler and with no cat. the piping is 3" by the way.

 

It is going to be loud if you take the Cat out of there, but the magnaflow will go along way to keep it "respectable". Hopefully it wont sound too rice, I have no idea, I have not heard that combination in person. Post a sound clip when you do it!

are you still running the stock k03? if you are and have no intention of getting a bigger turbo, you may not want to go with 3" pipe, you may very well lose power due to the lack of back pressure.

yea im actually in the process of buying a ko4 w/ injectors. so only for a few weeks will i be runnin the ko3 with the 3"

 

all i know is my friend did a magna flow and it sounds rice. also i know that magna flows run louder then most other mufflers

 

yea 3" no cat will be loud, i have 2.5" not cat with a magnaflow muffler and i think mine is to loud, then i sit in my friends with the borla and there is quite a difference..

 

I have a 2.8 30V with stock cats, stock diameter piping, no mid-muffler, and a Remus muffler....and that's really loud...i can't imgaine no cats too!

 

How loud is your stereo? Cause its going to be loud, but you can always cover it up with a good song!

That doesn't help much if the cops are following you though.

Look at high-flow cat instead of test pipe, maybe a borla too.
