2nd owner of a 2006 A4 cabriolet. I've never purchased an extended warranty before, but this is also the 1st time I've never purchased a used car. I'm also concerned about the issue of having roof issues since this is a convertible. I'm also aware that organizations like consumer reports doesn't recommend them. Thoughts?

 

I got one through a Dodge dealer for my Ram, was good. Cost only $800 w/$50 deductable per repair...However, I have heard horror stories about buying one at anywhere but a dealer.
