Had the car MAYBE a month, and some stupid *** pulled out in front of me. The brakes work damn well though. Went from 45 mph to about 10 in maybe 20 feet, then I hit her.

thats sucks. BUt it could be way way worse. Liek teh car being totlaed and such. A body shop should be able to fix taht in a couple of days.

 

No, I've already called her and she isn't trying to scam us. She was cool about it, maybe the only reason she is still breathing. Just kidding. We are taking back to Audi on Monday to get an estimate to fix it.

i knwo how u feel when i crashed my first baby i was so pissed. And teh cop says to me just be glad taht no one was hurt and i actually said to her "I would rather i was hurt and my car is ok. I can fuking heal my car wont." She didnt find teh humor in that and tehn gave me lectur about personal safety about seat belts and shi!t. Dont know why cause i had mine on and i was fine.

 

No cops came to lecture me about safety, here I guess its normal for "minor" accidents to be handled between the people involved, no cops. I guess technically it was minor, but I dont feel like it was. I wanna cry. But I guess I will be a big boy and spare you all from that embarrassment.

Does anyone know it something like this will go on the title? I dont really want to have it show up on Carfax or something like that.

 

Nope, shouldnt go on the title. If you fix it at audi, people might be able to find out that it had work done, but at the same time, they will see how minor it was.

carfax gets teh accidents from teh DMV so it wont show up there. And audi might not keep taht on ur service record if u ask them not to.

 

But then again even if someone did see it was serviced, they would see it was from Audi, and not some no name chop shop. I wouldnt worry about that.
