I just got a VAG-COM and scaned my 2002 A4 today, i got this code:

01119 - Gear Recognition Signal
35-10 - - - Intermittent

I have read on here that it is a pricey fix,I was wondering if anyone knew exactly what the problem is.

It is from a miscommunication between your electronic stabilization program/ABS and transmission control unit.

It is intermittent. I'd just clear it drive a few hundred miles and see if it comes back.

 

So, i just scanned my car agian and its back, i don't know if that means i just have a loose wire somewhere or what, does anyone have any suggestions, i have noticed that there is a delay wheni hit the gas from a stop and it kind of jerks into gear, i don't know if these two things are related
