So, I got the Vag-Com software (version 409.1) and I just won a Vag-Com USB cable on eBay. Anyone had any luck with said combination before?

 

I use the ebay vag.. u can do alot, just not as much .. u can still clear codes, and read them, but it wont show you some of the code descriptions. You have to force dumb mode when u go to set it up.

it works pretty good.

 

Well, I have a list of the codes, so, I don't think that will be a problem at all. What software do you run?

 

Can things such as fuel accel trim be done with this set up? vag/ebay...

 

No idea. It runs real Ross Tech Vag-Com software, so I assume it can do real Vag-Com stuff.

just search it up and find out some of the cool things you can do with it

 

You can down load lemmiwinks to adjust fuel and timing now that you have a VAG cable.

 

Now I'm wondering why I put this off so long!
