Although i have a B5, i run NGK Iridium IX in mine. Here's a link to the platinum plugs for your car on their site:

I also have another question...its kind of noob, but im not sure if i have hid in my b6..If i do i want to upgrade the bulb intensity.. ie 8000k etc...I believe my bulb size is H7.. can i just buy an 8000k set of H7 bulbs and plug n play?
if you have H7's then you don't have HID's - audi stock HID's are D2S bulbs. to upgrade order a kit off ebay from a user named "flashplus" this is VVME.com's ebay ID - they are very good and under $100 shipped. remember that anything over 6k and you'll loose light power - stock is 4300k and most suggest never going over 6500k
Also another thing to take into consideration, seen that you just threw out a number... "7000k". Do you know what or how its measured or if the higher or lower the number the better?
K means Kelvin that is how an HID is measured
HID means High Intensity Discharge
The higher the #k it is the more of a purple it gets and is not as condensed, more scattered.
The lower the number is usually better, a brighter white that is very concentrated and will hit a good amount of space depending on what brand you go with, quality etc.

Yup... higher number of HID is just for the color. You will get more purple hue with higher number but you will lose the brightness. That means the light won't shoot very far.
thanks for all the imput. I do know how hids and the numbering works...how do i go about checking if i do have hids? I went to a link that just states different bulb sizes. I'm not sure exactly what I have.. Do i have to open the light fixture?
