Well I've read around the forum abit and have gain some general understanding of what I'll want to do to upgrade my A4. However I have a few questions on specific gains for the kind of upgrades I get.
First I am looking at getting either a 99,00,or 01....Any year I should go with in partictular?

How much gain could I get if I got the K04 upgrade with the giac chip and exhaust?

I was also looking at the 2871R turbo package from renn-art and was wondering how much more Hp that would get me...

Also Could either of those two turbo's do damage to the engine...what could I do to avoid it?

What would look better 17's or 18's on the A4?

Go with 99.5 its NDBW but it had the newer body style perfect mix.... With a K04 set up your lookin at 200+ WHP..... GT2871RS and like will give you a bunch more power like closer to 270 WHp I believe and if its set up right its not going to harm your car at all..... The B5 A4's look best with 18's IMO

Yeah I'm forsure going with a 5 spd and quattro...but what does NDBW(P-16 file for K04) mean?

 

have you checked out renn-art.com they have a kit, then theres arp and atp both have the set ups as well

Well I figured out what a DV was...but im still stumped on the whole NDBW thing...Thanks for the help guys...

 

NDBW = non-drive by wire. The 2000+ are DBW (there is an electronic sensor on the gas pedal that sends a signal to the ECU).

PC-16 is a more powerful program from GIAC that is for NDBW cars which have had the K-04 turbo installed in them.
