honestly, i think the tip chip would probably shave off a second or maybe even more

 

yea deff. they were even at the track when i went, he was drivin some older jetta runnin 12.2 it was pretty fast

 

i saw that ride on the website, knew it had to be quick

 

thats what i think also bout the chip, on giac websits it says that it takes shift time from .8 to .2 of a second. in the quarter mile that should be over a second off the time

did you run your car w/ the k03 and software or did you go straight to the k04?

 

from stock to k04, it was great

i keep lookin at the gt2x turbos and thinking i would like to be one of the first or few that have one with a tip transmission

guess i will get in contact with level ten tomorrow and see if it is even possible?

if not, k04 it is

 

i will be happy with it when im gettin the full potentia out of my setup

i have a 2001 dbw with the awm motor

i contacted giac and they only have 1 software program for this model year and dont plan on making anything more agressive
due to the all the intrest in the garrett gt turbos

 

99.5, im runnin the pc 16 k04 file. aeb motor with 108k
