Geez so... basically at the price they want for that one little cable, I need to get used to pressing the unlock button twice when carrying passengers and hold my breath waiting for some really awesome person willing to vag my car in exchange for... some hidden talent I have yet to find. OR, hey Jest, you wouldn't happen to have a multimeter that you can use to do a continuity check on yours and email me the pinout so I can build the cable myself?

ShadowECD, there have been schematics posted on audiworld on how to build your own. Search google for home built obdII tools. I have a multimeter, but there is more to the cable than just straight connecting wires. There are resisters and capacitors etc.
