Default FINALLY GIAC CHIPPED ECU!!!

Santa is coming early this year!! and patience pays off..I finally found a ecu with GIAC flashed programming for my 2000 1.8T tiptronic

Yea I coulda spent the dough to get it through GIAC but I ended up getting it from a guy over on Audiworld who upgraded to a BT setup for only $350 shipped!!

Im stoked and cant wait for the difference...I pretty much have alot already done and have been waiting for a chip..2.5" mandrel catback to scorpion muff...lightweight crank..abd cold intake stratmosphere adjustable dv...N75 race valve ...and surf racks..lol

what do you think should be next that I would notice a big difference from other than a BT setup??

CANT WAIT TIL I GET IT!!!

Looks like youve got it all covered. Maybe do some suspension work. The intake wont do a much if anything for you other than sound, maybe save that money for something more worthwhile?

I got the intake barely used for a good deal too..I only paid 180 for it..so not too bad but yea I know its really only for sound...maybe diy airbox mod and sell it get some nice wheels ...probably right about the suspension a coilover setup would be ideal but I dont wanna spend close to $1 grand for it

Oh yea I need to install my boost gauge now ..its been sitting in my trunk waiting for the chip..lol

Happy Holidays Everyone!!

i would say get a heatshield for your intake to take away heatsoak that is hand and hand with aftermarket intakes on our cars (PM me for info if you want the best one you can possible get, pic included down below).. the only other thing you could do is get a testpipe. pretty cheap and i was very happy with the bump in performance..

i swear by this thing, turbo will be glowing on one side and the intake will be cold to the touch

Yea wheels and suspension are definately on the list

I would like to go testpipe but I wouldnt pass emissions in California...any issues with bad smell and do you just put spacers on the o2 sensors??

The heatshield I have seen over on AZ I think..whats the info on it??

How does the LaBree HFC compare to a testpipe for performance??

a HFC is just under a TP performance wise.... with my TP I never noticed any smell and I did the spacers on the O2 sensors and never had any probs

You are gonna love the GIAC chip! I just got mine chipped with the Tip chip and man it rocks! my boost is about 15psi and it "goes" when you want it to.
