if any of you have been following my posts i have been having some starnge problems with my car, the check engine light finally went off, it flashed so that cant be good and gave me a P0301 code.. any thoughts

also on another note, i bought injectors off some kid on audizine and i think im getting stiffed siad he would send them out monday, and he still has yet to send them and give me a tracking number that he said he would send me.. im getting a little worried, im glad i payed with paypal and a credit card becasue if something goes wrong ill just call the credit card company and say its fraud.. his name is quattro8239 anyone else buy anything from him.. I really want the injectors so i can go pc-16 they were a good price and the kid seams nice, but i just dont want to get stiffed..

did u install the intake? P0301 is a misfire of cylinder 1. it sounds like an ICM problem or possibly a coilpack issue. try swapping coilpacks with a different cylinder and get the codes and see if the misfire is detected in a different cylinder. if it is, then you'll need to replace the coilpack, if it isn't, then i'm guessing you might need to replace the ICM

as for quattro8239 i have never dealt with him but judging by his previous posts on audizine he seems relatively "active" and i'd give him a couple days before taking action

whats a coil pack run these days???

 

a coil pack is alot cheeper then a ICM, the problem i have is this is the first time it through a code.. i dont know if it would do it again and the car is running so poorly i dont want to force a code again like i just did, usually what happens is it starts misfireing when i hit the gas once and a while and if I hold my foot in the gas it will contunie to misfire but if i let off it will stop.. so i just kept my foot in the gas up a hill a wam i got a code.. so i dont know, what to do.. it sucks

 

Do what danx99 said. If that doesn't work chang spark plugs.

 

spark plugs are brand new, I dont know if it will through another code, this one took a month to come up.. might just buy one new coil pack

 

which one is cylender 1 any way. dont know the fireing order of the motor

 

firing order i belive is 1342
