finaly got a code

ECStuning has them for like 20.

Why dont you swap (or test) them first to make sure thats the problem before wasting your money?

You dont need a code to tell if the cylinder is firing or not.

take the coilpack out and plug, leaving the wiring on, and hold it so the plug is near a ground. Have someone else turn the ignition over, and see if it sparks or not. Then swap the packs with another cylinder and try again. If no spark both times, its the ICM rather than the coilpack.

Good luck, shouldn't be too hard to troubleshoot.

well i have an AEB engine so on ecstunning they are 59.99 or 60 bucks i just changed my plugs a while ago and the ones i took out looked mint which would lead me to beleave i was running good, but ill give that a shot.. ICM is like 150.. that sucks

Well shiznit, if their 60 for yours, thats all the more reason to test them out first!

usually the ICM dies out on cylinder 2 1st....

swap the coils 1st.

well i hope thats the right fireing order.. i just swaped the front two coil packs.. we will see what happens

still have a missflre it feels different now though not the same as b4, think its the coil pack, no code..

nope same **** as last time.. it wont throw a code.. the only time it did was when i had 4 guys in the car over 220 and going up him in 5th gear did it finally though a code the first time.. so i dont know what to do.. i guess ill just buy a coil pack and then if that dosnt solve it a ICM

pull the coilpack and plug out on the cylinder you swapped to. Leave the wiring connected.

Ground a screwdriver with rubber handle to the block, and hold the coilpack with the plug in it near the screwdiver shaft, and see if it sparks. (have someone else turn the ignition over)

No spark, replace the coil pack. Just wanting you to make sure its not still cyl. 1 that is misfiring. If it has moved to 2, then you know the Coilpack is bad.
