Hey guys.. Ive washed my car and waxed it myself since i got it.. 2004.. i just changed my brand of towels to dry it with a cheep brand from costco (yellow microfiber).

Now there are fine scratches throughout my whole car. the scratches aren't deep at all nor even noticable but when i look close i can see them. and white scratches on a black car dont mix.

What can i do do eliminate these scratches.. should i wax or somthing??

What brand and type of towels should i use to dry and wax my car when im done washing it? I just bought terry towels 100% cotton.. they felt okay (much better than costco's garbage that i bought).

this is gonna take a while, What you have are commonly know as sweral marks. they are there for a number of reasons, usualy from washing with dirty supplys or rubbing the paint. it takes a process of buffing with finner and finer product untile you quite litterly sand the scratches out. pm exceldetail, he seems to be the one to talk to about this kinda stuff.

i gave up trying to keep my car scratch free, but i know how ya feel. good luck getting those suckers outta there.

who knows what it would cost to have this done professionally, my car is the same way.

 

clay bar only removes dirt and stuff off paint

i forgot, ask Brrman give him a PM he knows how to take care of swirl marks

 

i just used NUfinish car wax and buffed it. IT worked out.
