finished air box mod and changed oil but...
well to get this out of the way, i felt that "The Best Air Box Mod?" gave the engine a more aggresive growl. the turbo sounds about the same when spooling. there is a noticeable bov sound when foot is completely let off gas pedal, which is kinda cool but may get annoying..idk too soon to tell. but along with these benefits, there is a negative. every time i let my foot completely off the gas, i get a popping noise that kinda sounds like when u squeeze in an empty 2 liter bottle then it just pops out. it does this 90% of the time i let off the gas. along with doing this mod, i changed my oil using Mobil 1 0W-40 with a K&N oil filter. the process of changing the oil went perfectly except for when i started the car for the first time, let it idle for about 5 minutes, then i get in to go for a test drive and the Engine Coolant Temperature either high or low message went off on the message screen. other than those problems, the car sounds way more aggresive with a deff an increase in throttle response.
p.s.- i turned off the car and waited a min and turned back on and it was still there.

i dont really no what u mean. the actual coolant temp is right in the middle. yes in between my tach and speedo the coolant level light went on. it kinda goes off and on
could possibly be going from cold (coolant level light on)
to when it gets warm or maybe its getting hot and boiling up (pressure builds up and level goes up so light goes off)
next time you drive for a while pop the hood and check out
the resevoir. see if its steaming and boiling. if so then the
level is fluctuating and making the light go on and off.
also make sure the harness underneath is all the way in and
making good contact.

well i get into my car after work and the engine coolant temp level light still keeps going off. the temp gauge was at cold at start up, then it eventually got right in the middle. im not sure what it could be. and what does a fluttering dv sound like?
next time i change my filter ill put in a Mobil 1 Extended Performance Oil Filter. i was thinking the popping sound it made when i let off the gas could because of a bad dv but im pretty much still getting full boost. i was thinking about getting some new g12 pentosin coolant and an oem green coolant sensor to see if that does it. btw, the coolant level is right below the minimum marker. what do u guys think before i buy this stuff?

Not to get off track, but next time I would reccomend using an oversized Mann oil filter rather than a k&n.
