But has anyone had problems with a GIAC chip? and with the dealers?
What potential problems might I encounter? I called the dealer and they told me if it wasn't the chip that caused the problem of the car, I wouldn't be liable for anything and that warranty would cover these problems.

sweet bro! happy for ya! I haven't heard of any problems with GIAC. Most seem extremely happy with it. I'd advise a new DV and a boost gauge. Also consider warm up and cool down when you're feeling frisky. Don't push it till she's warm and don't just shut her off right away when you're done being crazy..let her breath a little. And above all..let us know your experience!

I agree with trans.... get a dv valve asap you will burn out the original fast... also i would recommend looking into an exhaust to take pressure off the turbo! gl though... my apr chip will be in on the 21st.

I got mine chipped Saturday. Everything seems fine. No Complaints at all. Its like a new car. I would get a new DV though. I changed mine at the same time I got it chipped.

 

congrads on the new chip, glad it runs well. how much did it cost?

 

600 for the the whole deal
another 200 if i feel like adding injectors in the future
