First off Hello and thank you for having me. I want to start by saying I love my audi and have beeen maintaining it meticulously(bone stock) for four years. I commute from nyc about an hour north, when I am working. I'm finally gonna make my ride a little more fun.
I had a valentine one and a blinder m45 installed last week. Also being applied right now 17" wheels and tires, bilstien sports, ss brake lines, borla downpipe/exhaust, abd intake, custom heat shield, giac chip, bailey dv. Along with spark plugs, wires and a transmission fluid change.
This project started by having the front end painted, after being a hit and run victim this spring. Then two days after paint she went in for the electronics install. The day I picked the car up I sent the ecu out to have the chip installed. As soon as the chip came back I drove her four miles down the road to the mechanic. To finally have all those parts I've been collecting installed. As you can imagine I am very excited and was looking for feedback or bright ideas on anything else I should be doing or missed in this project. Thanks guys.

I'm sorry, it's a black 2000 a4 1.8t quattro sedan tip. Hopefully picking her up tomorrow, if not monday. After I do the tints and alignment next week I'll post pics.

How about a tip chip to help bet rid of the lag between shifts.

 

i havent heard of those who offers that and how much are they?

 

How do you like the tip chip? I have heard of it as well, but don't know much about it. How well does it work? Hp increase? How long have you had it? And have you seen any negative effects on the transmission(ie:gear slippage, hard shifts, funny noises). Or has it been able to clean up any similar problems?
