Basically, I have located a 2004 Audi A4 1.8T 6 speed Quattro w 41,000miles for $20,000. It is a one owner car and has a clean CarFax report. The car is being bought by a dealer and I have not yet looked at it in person.

My question: Is there anything specific to A4's that I need to be aware of or any advice before purchasing an A4?

Get a warranty if you can, its worth it.

Im not real familiar with that year, but suspension issues would be the first thing I would look out for, and always try to buy one with good service records. If the car has no records available, then make sure to have an audi dealer inspect it, and give you the lowdown on it.
