Hey guys I am new so please excuse me for dumb questions. I am looking at a 98 Audi A6 quattro. It is clean as can be with no body damage or interior damage at all. The owner is trying to sell it but he said that the car has transmission problems and it has 118k. What are some things I should look for and is a transmission repair/swap very difficult? All help is appreciated.

 

The transmission repair will cost more than the car is worth.
