Fitting in a B5 A4
So i've been browsing these forums for a few months now and i'm getting closer to buying a b5 a4. The only question i have left is will i fit in one. I am going to sit in one before i buy it don't worry but i'd like to start here to see if it's worth my time. I'm 6'5 and i just fit in my jeep cherokee, not wide in any dirrection just tall and muscular. Wondering how the bigger guys fit in the a4. Head room, seats and do you feel cramped?
thats reassuring but if i set in the back odds are no one whos in the front would be as tall as me. I hate leaving my drivers seat also, furthest i'll go is shotgun. Thanks for the help.
I am 6'2" and have no problems. Back seat is cramped, but I still have room to put the seat back more. The seat is pretty adjustable. I put the seat right down on the floor (probably lower than most), but I have a few inches of head room left. Also, the steering wheel telescopes, so you should be able to find a good seating arrangement. I think you will be fine.
same with me im 6ft3 and with the driversseat all the way back i really have to stretch to fully depress the clutch pedal. Room behind a tall driver is pretty limited, however audi kindly added grooves to the back of the front seats to allow for slightly more leg room.
same thing hereim 6'3 but i have a b6 and if i have the seat 2 far back i cant reach the clutch, i have to pull the seat up and can have ppl sit behind me if i raise the back up alittle. you should have no real problems
I have a B6, and I'm 6'4" ... I fit, but not with a lot of room to spare, don't know how much the sunroof hinders headroom if at all, but even with the seat all the way to the floor, i can still touch my head to the headliner if i put my seat too far up... but like others have said, with the seat all the way back, pushing the clutch to the floor is a stretch... I fit alright though... and have had people sitting behind me just fine.
