Default flip out touchscreen

I have a 98 A4 2.8 and I am thinking of buying a flip out touchscreen similar to
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...;rd=1&rd=1
(any other suggestions)

But whenever i see pictures of the deck the outputs on the back seem to be all RCA jacks. and the ones on my current stock deck are all special clips with dedicated slots. (im sure you know what i am talking about) but i am wondering how you would attach the new deck with the old wiring configuration. is the installtion of ones of these easy/expensive? thanks for any advice

That is a pretty good deal. Install on one of these is a little pricy at a shop but you can figure it out pretty easily. A plug-in adapter will make it super easy. Be aware though that when flipped up the screen will be in the way of controls. I went with a 3.5" in dash screen for this reason and just ran video out to all the other monitors. Either way, TV is fun. Enjoy!

I had a pioneer flip out on my old 2.8 A6...not sure what the price was on install because I got components all around, 2 subs and 2 amps. But it can be done, and it is not difficult. The only thing that I was told was difficult was hidding the dvd brain.

Whatever you do, don't get the Dual screens. I install those cheap units at a shop and they always come back with problems. The screen wont last half a year and that mechanism malfunctions etc.

If you can, get a Pioneer or an Eclipse. They might be more expensive but they are way better in quality and will last years. Just my $.02
