Default Fmic Info

I Just finsihed installing my evo fmic and wanted to share my experience.

The kit it self installed easily and it fit perfect with no cutting of the bumper what soever.
The car runs and idles alot smother now.
There is some turbo lag now though which should be gone when i get my awe gt28r kit on monday.

Overall im happy with the kit and wanted to share with you guys that it fit perfect with no cutting at all!!!

Congrats.. You probably got some pressure drop due to the larger diameter piping/core of the IC which would explain the added lag.

I think you will be loving life a lot more
Youll still have some lag though, not as much as some other bigger turbo's have, but once you hit full boost, itll make up for any bit of lag you experience.

AWE's exhaust for the B6is a mirror image of the Thermal. They claim it isn't a Thermal rebadged, but if you saw them next to each other, they are essentially identical.

Oh, and search for username tinman on one of the other "forums not to be mentioned here". He's running the AWE GT28R kit and says good things about it. Not the high-end hp/tq of the APR or REVO GTRSkit, but certainly more than a K04.
