is there an aftermarket light bulb that will give off a beam color somewhat on par , or at least the same optical color of the HID low beam units ....</P>


what size are the bulbs , and how can they be accessed ?</P>

I heard sylvania makes a good bulb.</P>

 

They are H7 bulbs. PIAA makes the closest bulb to the HID's ina regular headlight and in fog light bulbs. They also make a yellow foglight thatgoes nicely with the Audi Xenon headlights. However, PIAA's are expensive. If price isn't an option that's what I'd go with. If price is a concern try the new Sylvania Silverstars. They will probably be realatively close but probably not perfect. </P>


Do not go to a car parts store and buy the no name crap they have in the section with the neons etc. Most of it is crap and you'll be replacing burnt bulbs more than you'd like.</P>
