So tonight I decided to debadge my car, and while doing so I had my key fob in my pocket. While I was sitting there holding the heat gun, my elbow was leaning on my keys for a little while and then I noticed that my fog lights were on. I didnt think much of it until I went out and now everytime I hit unlock my foglights stay on until I open the door, and they also go on when I hit lock once, and then go off when I hit it again. I thought this was pretty cool since before my hazard lights would just flash when I hit unlock or lock. When I got home I was seeing if it could roll my windows down and I held unlock for a few seconds and now my foglights dont go on anymore. Anyone know what I did to make this happen? Id really like to change it back to have my foglights go on with the unlock button.

Is it something that can be programmed via Vag Com - if so - how?

 

My fog lights work the same way. They have always done this. not sure why you are not seeing it anymore. It may have to do with a setting after you drive and park.

 

i thought it was a vag com mod, but limited to the 02 models?
