OK i know nothing about Audi's. I found a 1996 A4 with a 5 speed, v6, and no quattro...
it has 132,000 miles on it and its 7,500 obo
along with::
Performance-tuned Autumn Red 1996 Audi A4. Excellent condition, many upgrades. Beige leather interior includes cold weather package, 6 disc changer, non-smoking owner, moonroof. Extensive performance modifications: 18" ATS DTM Competition light alloy wheels w/Yokahama Parada Spec-2 tires; custom exhaust w/high flow cats; custom cold air intake w/battery relocation to trunk; H&R sport springs (1" lowered); Koni Sport adjustable shocks; Neuspeed 28mm rear sway bar; ported throttle body and intake manifold. Also includes removable roof rack with two bike carriers and extra set of wheels (OEM 16").
Is there anything that goes wrong with these car's at higer miles or do they last a fairly long time.... w/out any hastle?

audis do last a long time, but it really depends on how the owner drove and took care of the car. when my father sold his '96 a4, it had about the same mileage, and his clutch (original) was just starting to go. this is not always the case, as my father was a race car driver, and knew how to take care of his cars. how much are they asking for the car? my suggestion to you is to have a mechanic that you trust check out the car. good luck.

Where I come from thats a good price. I have 99 that had 104,000 when i bought it and it was 12k stock.

Wow, relax. I was just saying there hasnt been a chip developed for the 12v engine.
