i found a nice rebuilt cat for $406 including shipping. the guy sent me this picture of what it looks like..

i have replaced the turbo on my 1.8t b4, so i am familiar with the shape of the cat, but it seemed that it was not as square as the one in the picture.
does anybody have a picture of the stock cat off of a 98 a4 quattro? are the cats all the same for all b5 1.8t's fwd and quattro?

will the one in the picture fit?
is this what the cats look like?

Why get a rebuilt cat for $406 when you can buy a new high flow cat from Techtonics.com for $295 new?

 

some stores sell same cats for 97-05 b5

 

dude get one on ebay... why dont people trust ebay... i dont get it... you save 80% of your money and if your a smart buyer you always come out with a smile on your face

 

i do sell and buy stuff of eBay.... but u have to know what u r looking for, dont just get cheapest part u cat get... and btw theres no way u will find good $600 cat on ebay for alot less $$$

 

any high flow cats wont pass smog in cali...

im not sure if i can find one on ebay
