Default Found a deal but can't decide Need Advice!!!

I found a guy where I live selling this Greddy electronic boost gauge (His drag racing Integra is boostin over 2 bars so he's gotta upgrade). Anyway, the gauge looks like the one I've attached but I'm not sure if it has peak hold or not (not a big deal). Regardless, he only wants $60 for it and it looks new. My problem is I really wanted a psi reading and the main thing it's back-lit green which is gonna suck in the Audi. Please, tell me what you think.

do as you wish.... it is a good deal

but i've allways noticed that when i compromise what i really want for a "good deal" i end up replacing the "good deal" with what i really wanted eventually down the road.... wasting money rather than saving it.....

I think this is what I'd prefer, but it'll be $50 more and it's mechanical. Is electric that much better than mechanical? Do you just hook your vacuum hose into the sending unit and it tells the gauge what to read. If so, I don't see why that would be better. I'm sure I'm missing something though.

Spend the money and buy the one that would match your interior. When you think to long on something, Do you really want it.

Yea, I like that one GregaXX but that's too pricey for me. I can see its neccesity with a built car like your though. I think I'm gonna go with mechanical regardless. I talked with some guys who know more than I do about gauges and most of them don't care for electric. They are definetely more difficult to hook up and if something goes wrong there are meny more things to troubleshoot than a mechanical gauge. Plus I think a Defi mechanical will be plenty accurate for my application. thanks for all the advice guys. I'll keep everyone posted on my decision as well as the custom install I plan.

if i were to do it... i'd save up the extra money so that ur car doesnt look cruddy with it.... u dont wanna make it look rice ya know... i believe u need a balance between appearance and performance... but thats just my opinion ^_^.
