I won some money at my company x-mas party. About 5g's so I am doing a lot to my car in the next 2 weeks. I already got hooked up with a good place to buy a high flow cat thanks to you guys and would like to know a good place to get a FMIC. I am looking to do catback exhaust w/high flow cat, FMIC, K04 and big injectors. I know where to get most of it but I dont wanna drop a G on a FMIC. I would get one off EGAY but they suspended my Ebay ID when I listed my PS3 (bastards) [:@]anyway what are my alternatives and what else should I do with remaining cash. Thanks for all the help.

HOLY MOLY, You better have the sickest audi in the world after this money is spent.... but anyways dont get one off of ebay, I dont have a turbo model so I dont know too much about a good fmic for an audi, but I would suggest getting a reputable one since you have the money. Make sure you get suspension and rims with some of that money as well.. and ko4??? why not bigger if you have the cash... If you spent the money wise than you could have one rediculous whip. Congrats on the winnings and if you dont mind me asking, where do you work??

 

because he is tip, and would have to upgrade his TC and VB to handle a load that a BT would put down.. my suggestions would be to do ko4/w GIAC/j31 file, borla exhaust with an Ecode testpipe,injectors, and a racetec FMIC (i would say EvolutionRacewerks FMIC but they won't stop perfecting that bastard and just release it).. get some suspension(coilovers or spring and strut combo) and then use the rest for repairs and all the other little odds and ends.. just start slow with one thing at a time, with these cars that 5K can be soaked up quick..

a lot! you have to run a FMIC with that file because it is so aggressive.. it runs between 25-28psi...

oh and forgot to mention. get a tip chip. that would definately be worth it (to me at least)

 

i would say spend like 250 to make a diy fmic. buy an exaust, find a ko4 if u can find one and then all the other stuff.

 

upgrade to a level 10 tranny and go either j31 or BT. you will LOVE it

 

do a T28 setup... thats what i have been considering instead of going K04... i figure once i get the K04 il want more anyway so why not just go for a little bit more... and i havnt heard the best things reading around on the lvl 10 trannys... is there anyone on the forums that has one?

but yea, k04 j31, fmic, 2.5 exhaust, injectors, hfc, forge 007, and some nice samco hoses... and you should be set

and if you have anything left over, some nice speakers...or suspension
