Default Front Pads?

Anyone know if the sensor connectors on the front pads are the round ones or the "rounded rectangular connectors?

Pad change light for fronts just went on. Should I just replace the pads or change the rotors too?

2000 1.8TQ tip.

Thanks

More often than not, you will just have to change the pads. You will tell if the rotors need changing if they are all scored, and the lip at the edge is huuuuuuuge!

rounded rectangular, I just changed mine (yr 2000) -- went with PBR metalmasters... so far so good.

yep - rounded rectangular (2000 a4). I did mine, but got the cheaper pads without the plugs. I just looped the circuit before it got to the pad so the light does not come on at all.
