Default front wheel "hop"

hey guys...FYI as of this moment i will have 4 post at the top of the board. thats what i get for being hungover as F&@$ and not being able to sleep anymore.

so anyway, I've noticed that in the snow or in any slippery condition that when cranking the wheel to pull into a parking spot the front wheels seem to "hop" or maybe skip is a better way to descibe it. has anyone experienced this or even know what im talking about?

im curious as to whether or not something broken or if this is normal?

No, all Quattro means is that they took their FWD car and added driveshaft and a couple of diffs. Your car is front wheel drive and the rear wheels decided to join the party.

thats a funny way describe it...i wonder if the Audi engineers were like "we feel bad for the front wheels they are sooo lonely, lets set them up on a date with the rear wheels." and then the other engineer probably said something like "yeah good idea, i think they'll have a lot on common..."

anytime you have power to the fronts and the power is greater than the grip, you get the hop. Stiffer mounts reduce to eliminate the behavior

I thought only the Halidex system was front wheel, then rear when slippage occurs?
