I'm new to this board but have had volvos and Hondas, anyways I bought an 97 A4 2.8 for my daughter and was wondering when the fuel filter should be change? the car has 104,000miles. Also is it easy? I'm picking up a service manual off ebay as well as owners manuals.

the hardest part is accessing it, the tank needs to be pryed down a bit and when your done it is a bit hard to lign up again

 

I think audi calls it a "lifetime" part... umm... it isnt.

I helped my dad change the fuel filter on his 96 2.8... it was no fun at all. Not at all... *shudders*

Why is it all the horrible repair experiences are in the dead of winter? ... Well, I guess the devil bolt hit me in the summer... thank God for that.
