Hi

Can somebody tell me, on the 2002 A4 1.9tdi, which of the two fuel lines attached to the bulkhead is the in and which is the return? I suspect the top one is the fuel in but need to make sure.

there should be arrows pointing the direction of flow on the lines

 

Thanks, so if they are just arrows which way would the return be pointing?

 

I've checked and there are no arrows that I can see on the pipes.

I've not been able to find a fuel system layout diagram, if anybody can tell me which pipe is which or where to find a diagram it would be most appreciated.
