If I install a K04 and get a GIAC chip will I need to upgrade my Fuel Pressure Regulator?

 

GIAC's programming uses a 5 bar fpr, but you might as well just get an adjustable one since most 5 bar fpr's out there aren't "true" 5 bar fpr's, but stock one's remodified.

there is only 1 agressive file you can use. GIAC offers 3, pc-16 for pre-00, j31 for 00, and hammer for 01. so you would get j31, which happens to put out the best numbers out of the 3. you should get around 250-270 hp and ~300ft lbs of tq depending on supporting mods

 

You sure about that? That is a e05 which is a direct swap for a ko3 and is bigger than a ko4-015 (just wheel size). The reason its probably "less agressive" is because the shaft on the e05 wasnt thick enough and running it over 17psi could snap the shaft.
