hey guys, my friend recently totaled his car, and now it sits in front of his house. in this crumbled piece of junk is a full tank of ultimate worth 30 bucks. he said i could have it if i could figure out a way to get it. the only way i know how to do it is the magiver way. a hose and some suction from my mouth. and i really dont want to do it this way. is there any other way of getting this done?

 

they sell syphoning (sp?) kits that do that at ace hardware and probally other hardware stores

lol, jk, you can buy tubing with a hand suction pump attached at any auto parts store real cheap, to siphon the gas out.

 

there may be a metal drain type thing that would stop you from getting the hose down into the tank. i tried siphoning some out of my friends rsx and ended up inhaling a lung capacity of gas fumes thinking i had to pull real hard to get the siphon going. i never puked so much in my life. well maybe once but i dont remember it...

 

if there is something stopping you from getting a hose in there just drop the tank. it's only held on by a few bolts and braces. then disconect all the crap to it and you've got your self a 12 gallon portable tank.

 

^^ hahaha! then start parting out his car when he's not home. he wont even notice for a few weeks.... when he does give him like $20 and tell him its cool...

A siphon kit is the best & safest way to go. They can be picked up @ any auto parts or hardware store. That way you're not inhaling the fumes & getting high off of them. If you're gonna drop the tank, be careful doing it. Gas can weigh alot, especially if it's a full tank.

 

you can also towel up the spilled gas on the ground at gas stations. once you get enough you can squeeze the towel out and then into your car, with a funnel and hose.

 

if the car is a goner and u dont care about the gas tank u can carefully make a hole and let it pour out, thats how people steal gas

BUT ITS VERY DANGEROUS

just suck a tube u dont want to spend money on equipment that might not be worth the tank of gas
