fun day
got started on a few projects today. finally got my bumper off. once i saw the design of the clips it was much easier to get off the other side, and now it takes all of 20 seconds to do.
those aren't the mounting brackets i'll be using i was just using them to test fit the intercooler
like my garage [8D]
you gotta first push down and out on the bumper so it can clear the top 2 clips, and then you pull up to get it out of the bottom one.
so now i gotta cut my bumper up. im gona remove the middle section, bondo and paint it, so its more like the rs4 front bumper, but im gona leave the side grills in. i also gotta paint my lowers and redo my wheels and make them glossy this time. but today the high was 50 degrees and its droppin down to below 30 tonite, not very good painting environment, so what can i do...i know, turn a corner of my room into a painting booth [8D]
there's a window on the other side and im gona put a wall fan in there so i dont get retardedly high. should be a fun night

i fvckin hate the weatherman. he said it would be at most 60* this week, yet this afternoon it was 65 and in the sun it felt in the 70's, and tomorrow it supposed to be 70 and sunny, perfect for painting. glad i went through all that trouble turning my room into a paint booth[:@] oh well, i removed the valve cover, painted it, repainted my grill, prepped my wheels for paint, and painted my lowers. tomorrow i gotta finish painting my wheels, cut my bumper up and paint that, get a pipe made for the hotside of my fmic, and put my car back together. should be fun
