fwd is coo. if u're just using it as a daily driver and have no use for a awd, who cares, besides then u can go stagerred wheels with fwd and save on gas

 

AWD audi's really don't have any more issues than FWD audi's... as the quattro system very rarely has any issues.

But yeah... I demanded quattro because I hate winter driving... when driving a 2wd car. I can do it, but I just prefer not to! My single most important criteria when car shopping, was that it had to be awd. I was using my DSM as a winter car, and the thing was a POS... my VR6 golf wasn't about to see a winter... and I needed to get down to one car. Shopped a lot, and obviously ended up with an Audi.

Now though... with a big turbo on the horizon... I am happier than ever that I went with Quattro.

An interesting fact that I once heard (Not sure it's STILL a fact, but it once was!) ... anyhow, in Europe, they sell more audi's than in north america... and only 20% of them have quattro. Here in north america, they sell much fewer audi's.... and over 80% of them have quattro. Wierd! They really got us hooked! Europe gets more snow, too, me thinks! haha

 

no i bet the quattros have just a many problems as the fwd, but thats what i was told and that kinda determinded my decision. i mean ilove awd i mean think about it AWD. thats why i loved those wrxs so much

Ah well, a FWD audi is still an audi... if quattro was all our cars had going for them... well, then I would've bought an Acura.
