Will this Garrett GT28R Turbo fit the car with the proper tuning? or are there other turbos that cost less but give the same amount of power as this one does?

 

Which GT28R? That's a very vague question. All turbo's will fit in the car with enough fabrication and tuning.

 

Aprs uses a gt28r, its a great turbo for the 1.8t. Prolly the best all around one actaully.

Johny, you actaully run a modded gt28rs, apr puts custom wastegates on there disco potatos. Thats actually prolly the best turbo, its sick. I only had the gt28r and it was fast.

 

ive always wanted a 28rs ever since emil gave me a ride in his car.

 

yea i know i drive it every day..lol I need a new DV though mines beat, trying to find a used or in like new condition bailys i think becasue im not positive mine is bad yet.. it sucks becasue if my turbo blows its 2200 for a new one through APR

 

well this site i found sell the GT28RS turbo for 750 bucks i just want to knw if i got it can i just bolt it on with out custom mods done to the car besides the tuning the exhaust and all the other parts.
