Default Garrett Turbo- must see!

check this out, it looks like a really nice item, but do you guys know if this is really worth it including the add on for 795$ which includes software and injectors? how much power would a 99 A4 1.8T be pushing with this? i know its no 3 hundred horsepower or is it?

Could be 300hp with supporting mods but i would rather go with the well established co. 1st/.

I'm really tempted to upgrade the turbo from Garrett in my new '07 A4 in a few years, but I imagine I'll need to upgrade many other things to take full advantage of everything.

Hopefully there will be an established upgrade path for me to follow down so there aren't gotchas along the way.

if you are going to bt there are a bunch of things which would be required... stage3 or more clutch, free flow exhaust, cai, injectors, fpr, FMIC, etc. it can turn into a large process

Nothing a lot of money won't fix.

Ask him who's software they use - and what size/brand of injectors. Software for k04 if $600 if you buy it alone from AWE so I would say its a good price for the program and the injectors.

The price for the Turbo is not any great deal - click here for same price

and OMG - here is sweet Step by Step on changing the Turbo

I don't mean to highjack but what is the difference between the GTRS and the GT2X Garret Turbo?

LOL - I just realized that the "extra options" on the Ebay page are the same at the website I listed above. so just buy it off of ATPturbo.com and you'll get the same one

Just that there are normal companies (not ebay) that have good prices and good reputations that you should check out 1st.

Ebay is only a place for businesses to sell items. Sometimes (like in this case) they are very reutable authorized dealers. Ebay is just a market place. they have the best and they have sh(t.

Plus the fact that they are a huge turbo seller - the guy has +431 feed back with 6 negatives - mostly wrong product sent or not in stock. Nothing to horrible. Sounds like a good company to me.
