Default Gas

Do i need to use premium gas in my 2000 Audi A4 2.8 automatic, or is regular ok as well.. i just dont want to have any kinds of problems.. please let me know thanks

no problems=super/premium. its what 20c more? so what you will be paying 4 bucks more at the pump why not use it unless you are gettting wendy's too and need the 4 bucks. lol just kidding use the premium

use the **** gas for a week and then use premium and see what the diff is, then you can decide for your self

Use the minimum manufacturer recommended octane, which is 91.

Try to save some money by using lower grade than what recommended is the dummest thing ever.

HOWS ABOUT YOU ALL GO RTFM Its says right in there that you can use 87 if you please and that the only thing that will suffer is performance, Try me on this one I had this argument a year ago, you want the page number.

Actually it says right on the gas door use 91 or higher. Why would they reccommend to use a certain octane if there was nothing wrong with the lower octane? Using 87 will result in engine knocking and obviously isn't good for your car.
