in the past when my gas light comes on it beeps at me which was always anoying, but just out of the blue it has stopped beeping when it comes on, what could have caused this?

 

The car just knows you will fill it up, it's just waiting to "beep" when the time is right.

 

Mine onlly beeps when i turn on the car and its low. I think i have noticed before that if i go for a while with the gas light on, it beeps while driving. Like its saying "ok im not kidding now fill me up you bitch!"

 

Maybe the beeper is broke you can run a test on this with a vagcom if ya got one.

well its weird, the light would come on and beep when driving and getting low enough and when jumping in my car and starting it w/ a low tank of gas. all this still happens it just doesnt beep anymore. to me it seems like a computer thing, like yoiu have the option to program it to beep or not to beep and my car just decided to set its self at no beep? but IDK???

 

I don't think the computer has a "no beep" option.

 

it was funny it scared the sh*t out of me first time i thought i killed the car lol

 

Does the instrument cluster still beep for other things like lights/doors?

 

It does have a "no beep" option or im pretty sure it does i ran into it when i was playin with the vagcom
